A Shared Life Pet Portraits
Commission a Portrait of your
Best Furry/Feathered/Scaled Friend
Uniquely personal paintings of your furry friend surrounded by their toys, snacks, and other favorite things.
Uniquely crafted, custom-made pet portraits and memorials. A portrait of your furry friend surrounded by the items they love: toys, treats, outdoor places. I work with you and a collection of photographs you supply to come up with a piece of art that celebrates your shared life together.
Each portrait is painted in gouache (watercolor), cut out and place on a colorful background of fine art paper. Other elements are cut with an Exacto knife and details are added using fine art pens. Some pieces are lifted over the surface using art board which gives a 3D effect. The 6 inch portrait is framed in a hand-made shadowbox frame to all for depth and shadow. Inclusion of ashes also offered.
Take your furry friend with you by commissioning a miniature portrait in the form of a pendant or pin. Painting is placed under 1 inch glass square and edged with copper. Sterling silver findings are used for hanging the pendant or clasping the pin. Pendants come with 18” wire necklace.
Inseparable friends can be put together in their shared portrait. This larger framed piece is also done in gouache paint with hand cut and drawn elements surrounding the animals to highlight their favorite items.
